Since a week or two is rumored that a hot Volvo S60 with around 400 hp is in progress. Volvo breaks the silence now and has released the first teaser of S60 Polestar: a street-legal one-off for a customer, from where perhaps a production model will derive.

Fans of spicy Volvo's treasure since the last R model increases the desire for a real executioner from Sweden, that times the old 850R and V70R must revive, and preferably surpass. The Polestar division already had a C30 model with 405 hp, but this one-off was only on the track. With the upcoming S60 Polestar revives the dream for a street-legal performance model.

On this car, the marketing department denies the possibility of a production version, but of course nothing is certain. Specifications are still not released, there is gambled on a T6 or perhaps an V8 block that was used in the XC90.

On June 16 there will be more clarity when the S60 Polestar is officially unveiled during the Gothenburg City Race.
