Yesterday already partially leaked but now is official: this is the new Range Rover. Lighter, stronger, more sophisticated, these are the keywords used for Range Rover's latest model.

The new Range Rover is up to 420 pounds lighter than its predecessor and that is mainly due to the use of aluminum that was used to include a fully self-supporting body structure. That weight savings not only will be good for consumption but also the handling of the Range Rover will greatly improve together with a newly developed chassis to ensure a smoother, better cornering.

There will be three engines available in the new Range Rover. The SDV8 or for when you go for diesel, TDV6, but the best is of course a V8 supercharged petrol. The TDV6 has also a green C-Label, if you want to come across very responsible with your comrades.

The interior is quieter and there is for the rear passengers nearly 12 cm of extra legroom created. If you go for the Executive Class implementation, you will get Range Rover with two individual seats instead of a standard backseat.

In Paris we will have the new Range Rover in full splendour to admire and to put our final judgment on it but to be honest: looks good, right?
