Damn! After the spyshots was no secret. The Skoda Rapid is a new creation of the Czechs that fill the space between the Fabia and Octavia fills. These are the first pictures.
What is striking is that they have substantially retained the MissionL Concept. This production version is largely similar, with the less exciting door handles, headlights, mirrors and wheels. Also, the roof is plain white.
The Rapid (4.48 meters long, 1.70 meters wide) comes first with 4 gasoline and 2 diesel engines on the market, not specified yet.
And with the Rapid we can get acquainted with the new design direction for the brand. Sure, the base is a sedan that seems just a little too much with the new
Seat Toledo.
Prices are not there yet, but Skoda sprinkles it with terms like "affordable car" and "value for money". That does not cost so much, no?
