Every staff members associated with a car manufacturing company are concerned about its upward sales. People would look for new models with great features always in the market. As per the sales update of last month in car market, new variety of cars have provided a positive deal to all the car makers. Another reason for getting upward sales is the launch of diesel engine cars. Before the introduction of car with diesel engine, sales of car used to depend on the price of petrol. The rise of petrol has got a negative impact on the sales of car. But today, even if the price of petrol is more in the market, the buyers will not stop to purchase a car on their own choice.
All the auto makers are having hopes to get more demand of cars once the festive season arrives. As per the report of Maruti Suzuki sales in June 2012, it was 83,531 cars. Among the display of figure, the new model named Ertiga along has provided a sales rate of 6000 units. Swift is still doing a good job in every market segment. The selling segment of Wagon R and Alto have become little bit sluggish. The buyers did not get much utility from the models like Sedan and SX4. As per latest news, the percentage hike in last month sale was 19%.
Again the contribution of petrol cars in Maruti Suzuki based on the models like Wagon R and Alto have got an increase on 10 percent. But, it is really surprising to note that the model named SX4 with diesel engine have come up to the level of 408 units. The export of Maruti Suzuki has risen to 27 percent as compared to previous years. Previous year the export of cars amounted to 10,278 but this year has over run the number with a replacement of 13,066.
Domestic sales of Hyundai motors have increased in a small figure. The sales of Hyundai cars were 30,450 units but the launch of new Eon have contributed a good ration in the upward rise of car sales. Most of the customer’s attention was also drawn with the new models such as Verna and i20 with the diesel engine. But the sales of Hyundai cars have not got a hike due to various factors such as; petrol price going up, government taxes, general inflationary trend etc. As per the statement of Mr Arvind Saxena, the net export rose to 8 percent.
The market trend also says that, people from Africa have received Eon model successfully. Even the people from South America have provided a good focus on
Hyundai i10 model.
Market has displayed a negative trend in the sales of Ford cars. As per Indian market, sale of Ford segment have got a serious reduction of 11 percent. Market has to still face the challenges with regards to sale of different models and segments of cars. Better car with better feature and dynamism can reduce the challenge.
