Honda presents at the Detroit Auto Show (9 to 22 January) NSX concept that announces a high-performance sports car with four-wheel drive and hybrid propulsion. Is a V6 petrol engine and hybrid technology that is called Hybrid SH-AWD Sport (Super Handling AllWheel Drive). Honda NSX sports car was launched in 1990 and kept it in production until 2005.
Front wheels are powered by one electric motor that can generate positive or negative torque on the corners, which would bring major benefits in terms of handling, said Honda.

VTEC V6 engine gasoline engages the rear wheels through a dual-clutch transmission with integrated electric motor (to recover energy in the engine brake and acceleration to maximum performance and fuel consumption).
Concept Honda NSX is 4330 mm long, 1895 mm wide and only 1160 mm height .The wheelbase measures 2575 mm and tires size are : 255/35 R19 front and 275/30 R20 back.

Besides the NSX concept, Honda has presented at Detroit new Accord Coupe concept (preview of the next generation Accord for America), Acura ILX (premium sedan concept for America) and a prototype of the Acura RDX's crossover which will reveal how this model will look in 2013.
